Accessibility Statement
Accessibility statement for hpc.ag/
HPC AG strives to make its online offerings accessible to all users. With the entry into force of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) on 28 June 2025, we are committed to meeting the requirements for digital accessibility.
1. Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the above-mentioned website. As our website integrates digital services in the field of electronic commerce, it is subject to the provisions of the BFSG.
2. Accessibility status
This website is partially compliant with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Accessibility Enhancement Act – BFSG). Full compliance with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA is being sought.
3. Non-accessible content
We are continuously striving to improve the compatibility of our website with digital accessibility requirements. The option to provide us with feedback also serves this purpose. Compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment. According to this self-assessment, the website is not fully compatible with the aforementioned requirements. We are actively working to remove further barriers. The content listed below is currently not accessible or only accessible to a limited extent:
In some cases, content cannot be fully perceived by people who are blind or have poor vision, for example because alternative texts for images are missing or insufficient. Certain content may also not be easily recognisable for users who are colour blind due to insufficient colour contrast. Texts are not always sufficiently perceptible, and the complexity of images and videos that visualise text information can be a barrier.
Some elements are not accessible or operable via keyboard, or there are no clear visual focus indicators to show which element is currently active. This makes navigation difficult for users who cannot use a mouse.
Optimisations are still necessary for reading aloud using appropriate software and for users of assistive technologies in general, as the semantic structure is not always optimal or the HTML long attribute is missing. Some headings and texts are not clearly understandable for everyone, and not all content is offered in alternative, easy-to-read language.
Embedded third-party content (e.g. social media integrations or external plugins) may not be fully accessible, over which we have limited control.
We would like to point out that we are continuously striving to improve accessibility. Due to the large number of pages or human error, isolated problems may occur. We apologise for any inconvenience and ask you to report any issues to us.
4. Creation of this statement
This statement was created on 23 June 2025. The accessibility status of the website was assessed through a self-assessment based on the information provided and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.
5. Feedback and contact
If you notice any accessibility issues on our website or require information that is not accessible, please feel free to contact us. We strive to respond to your enquiries as quickly as possible and to continuously improve the accessibility of our services.
